Refund and cancellation policy

We want you to be satisfied, so all eligible courses purchased on Setu can be refunded within 30 days of approval and validation of refund request, provided the request meets the guidelines in our refund policy.

Certain restrictions may apply and some purchases may only be eligible for credit refunds. If your course purchase is only eligible for a credit refund, this will be indicated on the refund page.

Setu credits in your account will be automatically applied to your next course purchase. So, when you select a course and proceed to the payment page, you will see the total credits that have been applied to the purchase. In addition, if you have any credits left in your account, the remaining total will also be posted.

Cancellation & Refunds: Online Training

We want you to have the best possible experience when you enrol in our courses. However, we understand that sometimes things do not go as planned. That is why we offer a flexible refund policy.

  • • If you choose to cancel your enrolment before the course starts, you are entitled to a 100% credit refund of the course fee paid.
  • • If you decide to withdraw from the course after the first session, you can request a credit refund of 90% of the course fee paid.
  • • Please note that after the second session, no refund will be provided.

We strive to process refund requests as quickly as possible, and we will issue the refund using the same payment method used for the original transaction.

Cancellation and Refunds by the Company

Please note that there may be certain orders that we are unable to accept and must cancel. We reserve the right, at our sole discretion, to refuse or cancel any order for any reason, without any claims or liability to pay finance charges or interest on the amount. Some situations that may result in your order being cancelled include but are not limited to inaccuracies or errors in Solutions or pricing information, technical or technological problems or problems identified in relation to credit / debit fraud. We may also require additional verifications or information before accepting any order. We will contact you if all or any portion of your order is cancelled or if additional information is required to accept your order. If your order is cancelled by the Company after your credit / debit card has been charged, the said amount will be refunded to that credit / debit card account.

Refunds: Duplicate payment

Refund of the duplicate payment made by the customer will be processed via same source (original method of payment) within 30 working days after intimation by the customer.

Additional reasons for denied refunds

We reserve the right, in our sole discretion, to limit or deny refund requests in cases where we believe there is refund abuse, including but not limited to the following:

  • • A significant portion of the course has been consumed or downloaded by a student before the refund was requested.
  • • Multiple refunds have been requested by a student for the same course.
  • • Excessive refunds have been requested by a student.
  • • Users who have their account reported, banned or course access disabled due to a violation of our Terms.
  • • We do not grant refunds for any subscription services unless otherwise required by applicable law.
  • • These refund restrictions will be enforced to the extent permitted by applicable law.

Credit only refunds

In cases where a transaction is not eligible for a cash refund, the refund will be granted using Setu credits, provided it otherwise meets our 30-day refund policy.

If your course purchase is only eligible for a credit refund, this will be indicated on the refund page.

Refunds for bundles purchased through a third-party

Since the payment for the bundle was processed by the third-party vendor, we do not have the transaction on file and cannot initiate a refund for you. Please contact the third-party vendor directly to request a refund.

Refunds for courses enrolled in through a third-party sale or promotion

If you enrolled in a course through a third-party sale or promotion on their platform/site (for example: a company is selling or giving away Setu courses), please contact the third-party directly to request a refund. Setu does not have access to the necessary information to review or process these refund requests.

Note: All refunds will be processed within 30 days of approval and validation of refund request.
